The courses given by Havard Engineering Inc. are based on
extensive practical experience with assessment of aging overhead lines, and development of solutions
to a wide range of problems particularly related to vibration and galloping of conductors. The broad
background of the coures material is derived from the preparation of state of the art reports on
specialized topics in vibration, galloping, spacer-dampers and refurbishment. The courses include
worked examples derived from the hands-on experience acquired by direct solution of specific cases.
The targeted audience is technical staff responsible for overhead lines in power utilities.
The courses are given in conjunction with other experienced experts, providing complementary material
for good balance in the presentations.
